Howard Chamberlain of England takes Title

Howard ChamberlainHoward Chamberlain of England won the 2007 Lisbon Golf Coast Festival thanks to a great round on the final day of the Festival.

He was 3 points behind Germany's Michael Allendorf before the day's play started and when Michael came in with 30 points, it looked as though he was going to be hard to beat.  But a great score of 33 points put Howard level with Michael on 95 points over the 3 rounds.

Howard was crowned champion by virtue of the best last 18 holes.

The ladies competition was not so close, with Glenda Winn of England taking the title by 11 points!  In second place was Carole Rotheram of South Africa and in third was Cathi Haussmann of Germany.
