Dunwood Manor first to reach Grand Final

Dunwood Manor and Janet Broadmore NSPCCFinally, after all the rain and the floods, the sun came out for the first NSPCC Ladies Golf Classic 2007 Regional Final - to be delight of all 72 taking part! Held at Newbury's Donnington Valley Course, this Regional Fianl was a closely fought competition with the top three separated by just 1 point!

The winners, by virtue of a better back nine score, were Barbara Blanks and Jan Crook from Dunwood Manor. They scored a fantastic 37 points on a course which played very difficult with lightning fast greens. Just losing out in second place were Sue Pratt and Mary Smith from Chipping Norton and in third place were the pair from Hazelmere Golf Club, Elizabeth Chestnut and Alwen Mann with a 36 points.
