Royal Automobile Club win in the rain

Royal Automobile Club WinnerAnn Martin and Gill Smith from The Royal Automobile Club were the winners of the third NSPCC Ladies Golf Classic Regional Final held at Nizels Golf Club in Kent.

In possibly some of the worst conditons we have seen at a Regional Final with the rain a persistant challenge, the ladies battled hard and turned in some good scores considerig the appaling conditions.

Ann and Gill with 36 points were the winners by just a point from Lindy Clemmow and Julia Gray from Bourn Golf Club. Third place was taken by Scynthia Larsen and Zsuzsi Lea from Coombe Hill, who finished in the same position three years ago!

Thanks go to all the ladies who took part and entered into the spirit of the competition and also to Nizels Golf Club for their warm welcome and for hosting the event so well.

The ladies also helped to raise more money for the NSPCC in the raffle where one lucky lady took home Chloe bag and another won a complimentary four ball at Nizels with thanks to the club.
