Wood and Harry win at Minchinhampton
 On possibly the hottest day of the year so far, Trevor Wood and Ted Harry played superbly well to win the Algarve Golf Trophy, held at Minchinhampton Golf Club.
The day was open to all Senior members of the club and was generously sponsored by the Algarve Tourist Board.
The betterball strokeplay format was unfamiliar to some taking part, but over 80 players signed up and enjoyed some fantastic hospitality.
Trevor and Ted won by just a stroke from John Lloyd and Tony Reeve. In third place, again only a stroke behind, were Mervyn Davies and Jeremy Penn.
