Janet Mills and Chris Dennis make Grand Final

It was another overcast day for the third NSPCC Ladies’ Golf Classic regional final, but the ladies hit the course in great spirit despite the need for umbrellas along the way!

It proved second time lucky for the pair of Chris Dennis and Janet Mills, who took part in the regional final last year as well. The won by three points from South Herts’ Eileen Papa and Helen Shuck-Keane.

On behalf of the NSPCC, our thanks go to all the ladies who took part and entered into the spirit of the event. Clubs had already raised a substantial amount of money for the charity through holding their club qualifying competitions but ladies on the day helped to raise even more by generously taking part in the raffle and Algarve Golf Trophy Nearest the Pin competition.
