Sadler and Lockhart win at Coventry
 John Sadler of Coventry
Golf Club and his guest Harry Lockhart, from White Moss Golf Club in
Perth (Scotland!), were victorious in the Algarve Golf Trophy event
held at the prestigious Coventry Golf Club scoring 42 points.
However, it was a close fought battle with second place Brian Coleman
and Bill Kirby also scoring 42 points but John and Harry were declared
the winners by virtue of the countback rule. Third place in this
betterball competition were Phil Toon and Hugh Williams.
Over 150 players took part
in this highly popular Mens Senior Open, with players coming from
across the midlands region to play this fabulous Coventry course. It
was also part of the series of Algarve Golf Trophy events taking place
throughout UK and Ireland this summer.
