Irishman Paul O'Farrell wins in Portugal

Irishman Paul O’Farrell of Fermoy Golf Club won the inaugural Algarve Golf Trophy title, scoring a total of 70 points in the two day stableford competition held at the stunning San Lorenzo Golf Course.
Andreas Borg just missed out on the title finishing in second place, but there was consolation for the Swede as he collected the best gross prize.
The UK’s Lindsey Wallace, from Naunton Downs Golf Club near Cheltenham, scored a fabulous 37 points on the final day to leave her in overall third place and take the title as the best placed lady.
